Generation PRX - Social Network for Youth Radio Producers

The Audio Exchange Project, that hotbed of online feedback, is hitting the streets for a new round of virtual audio workshops beginning at the end of the month. The AEP is a great way to connect with other youth in the field, make your own radio better and get heard. Here's how it works:

First, youth producers upload their audio works-in-progress to the AEP with a note on anything they'd like reviewers to pay particular attention to. Next, youth from around the country listen to the work, and give comments on what they think is working and what could be better. Meanwhile, other youth are also uploading works in progress (the exchange part, y'know?) in order to get feedback. Once all the suggestions have rolled in, youth producers can re-edit their pieces and upload the work to PRX for broadcast to the world.

If you'd like to help producers by giving feedback, please come on down! Just remember to make your comments specific, and to be supportive as well as honest (and you can use this handy Peer Feedback guide if you're not sure what to say). And, if you're interested in contributing work, please contact generationprx [at] prx [dot] org.
