Generation PRX
Poddio turns iPhone into studio...
The latest buzz from the techno-geek world is Poddio, an iPhone application from VeriCorder that turns an iPhone into a hand held recorder and digital audio workstation.Though the sound isn't necessarily studio-quality - Radioworld.com reports that VeriCorder has a small mic plug in that is "not much bigger than a toe — and not the big toe" - the app could do wonders for on-the-fly editing. Imagine: Grab some sound, edit it quickly, and send it back to home base for broadcast.
