That's Jason Rae, the Youngest Super Delegate, with Barack Obama.
Well, the first month of school is over! I don't know if it's just me, but it feels like school has been in session forever. Much more than just 1 month.
The remaining 8 months seem pretty daunting. The soon-to-be terrible weather is looming, too. The economy is awful. Politics are more heated and intense than ever.
Luckily, there is always good radio to cheer people up! I enjoyed all the stories I listened to this month on GPRX.
My favorite piece this month was Y-Press' story,
"A Day in the Life of the Youngest Super-Delegate". I picked this story for several reasons. First off, it was really clean and polished. All the editing sounded really great. Also, the 2008 election is probably one of the absolute most important things happening right now. No matter who wins, the impact will be seen around the world. And it can seem a little hard to directly relate to, especially to teens. But this story made all the big things happening in Washington applicable to youth. Thirdly, I really liked how Jason Rae, the youngest super-delegate, was portrayed. He seemed really smart, nice, and not condescending.
You can check out Y-Press' website
here. It's awesome. They have really interesting articles and other things, all made by teens.
