Hrishi's (Final) Pick of the Month

Hi all,

This is my last blog post, so I'm really bummed. Working for Generation PRX was so cool! Plus I had a lot of fun.

My favorite piece of the month was "Killing is the New Fighting" by Youth Radio's Ayesha Walker. What I really liked about this piece was that it sort of gives the rest of us a window into why there is so much gun violence in American cities. It was also great in that it provided a contrast, "of inner-city fighting, then and now" as I wrote in my review.

Dang, I sure will miss being a youth EB member. I'll also miss Coach Tony Dungy and wide reciever Marvin Harrison of the Indianapolis Colts. Hope they get some good players in the free-agent frenzy and the draft. :)
