About Me:

After one summer internship at KUOW my freshman year of college, I was hooked. I'm now back for my fifth year and even though I've grown a lot since that first summer, I haven't gotten sick of being here.

I run the Weekday High School Internship Program (WeHigh) here at KUOW, teaching a group of about six high schoolers the radio ropes. I act as managing editor both for the program and their stories, trying to give advice while still letting their voices stay their own. I feel like I re-invent the program every year depending on the group, but always love seeing their ideas turn into real stories.

We're doing a podcast of our voices again this year, one that's a bit informal, a bit experimental, and a lot of work :)
